Register a .hk domain
Check a name, see who can register what, and what happens after you pay.
eComGear registers .hk and .com.hk domains for you.
Check a name
Type the name you want. We check both endings and show which are free. If your name is taken, we offer close names built from the words you typed. You choose; nothing is picked for you.
Who can register what
A .com.hk is only for businesses registered in Hong Kong.
What the registry asks for
- A company gives its company registration number.
- A person gives their HKID or passport number and confirms they are 18 or older.
- Everyone gives a phone number, because the registry needs one.
Your ID number is sent securely with your payment and is not kept on the page.
Price
The price is shown on the pay button before you pay. Launch offers change over time, so check the button for the current price.
After you pay
We email you a link. It confirms your email and opens your account, where your domain and your website are waiting. If you already have an account, we send a sign-in link to that address instead.
You also get a free month of publishing to your domain. See Your free month.
